About AquiTron

AquiTron is a product of two of Aquilar’s core activities, the customer focus programme and commitment to continuous R & D.

The company maintains close links with specifying M&E consultants, contractors and end-users via networks of field sales representatives and trained partner installers.

The company has personnel with experience of the industry since its inception, that are actively involved in new product development for the TraceTek Group as part of its commitment to Raychem’s R & D legacy.

AquiTron is a range of products developed with technical input from the TraceTek laboratories in California to complement the TraceTek system. The two ranges are fully compatible with each other.

AquiTron products include single and multi zone alarm panels, water detection probes/point sensors, oil and chemical optical sensors, immersion sensors, float switches, remote alarm panels, refrigerant gas detection equipment, and accessories to compliment the TraceTek systems.

AquiTron Mission

Driven by the evolution of regulatory regimes and working practices, by environmental pressures and technological advance, the needs of customers are changing.

Aquilar is committed to being at the leading edge of developments in the leak detection industry.

AquiTron Mission and RayChem R&D Legacy

   RAYCHEM’S R&D LEGACY

The multi-national materials science company Raychem invested heavily in the scientific analysis, research and development of substances, modifying existing and manufacturing many new materials.

In the leak detection industry it has resulted in TraceTek’s world leading sensing cable technologies (utilising the radiation cross-linking of fluoropolymer materials), alongside electronics monitoring circuitry that is capable of outstanding levels of accuracy and reliability.

Aquilar is involved in the global R&D effort at the customer or ‘application’ level. The company provides a technical interpolation of the problems and changing needs of customers in the field, and interfaces with developers within the TraceTek organisation.

Via close links with the end user through networks of field representatives and partner installers, Aquilar continuously monitors trends and emerging needs. The AquiTron range will continue to expand in response to input from customers and colleagues.

Areas under development include a new kind of zone control system in response to growing demand for individual zone monitoring. Developments in the Industrial / Environmental markets have also prompted a thorough review of the sensors needed in this fast moving and increasingly legislation-driven sector.
